FRONTSTEPS PUBLIC CHAT TESTING

The purpose of this page is to test the public chat code that will be available on our public websites and KB.  Users accessing this chat will not be authenticated and must provide their contact information every time.

Testing Steps

  • If agents are not logged in the chat with an expert will say Contact Us.
  • Agent should have the FRONTSTEPS Chat assigned and enabled in OmniChannel.
  • Agent should login.
  • User should see Chat with an Expert in bottom right.
  • User should click on Chat with an Expert Button.
  • User should complete contact details and select product FRONTSTEPS Community.

Repeat Test with Caliber

  • Agent should have the Caliber Chat assigned and enabled in OmniChannel.
  • Agent should login.
  • User should see Chat with an Expert in bottom right.
  • User should click on Chat with an Expert Button.
  • User should complete contact details and select product Caliber.

Cross Product Chat Test

  • Agent should have the Caliber Chat assigned and enabled in Omnichannel.
  • Agent should login.
  • User should see Chat with an Expert button
  • User should click on Chat with an Expert Button.
  • User should complete contact details and select product FRONTSTEPS Community.
