At only fourteen years old, Trinity started to develop a passion for coaching when she began volunteering at her gymnastics gym. A year and a half later, after ending her eight-year competitive gymnastics journey, she was thrilled to become a “real” gymnastics coach.

As her gymnast days came to an end, her CrossFit journey was just beginning. After participating in the 2017 CrossFit Open in the 14-15 year old teen division, she fell in love with the challenge of CrossFit workouts. It was then that she decided to train for the CrossFit Games in the teen division. In the 2018 CrossFit Open, she was one of the top 200 16-17 year-old teens in the world, advancing to the online qualifier. It had been a goal of hers to make the CrossFit games in 2019, but unfortunately, she had to stop training due to a back injury.

In her words:

“While training for the Games I was so grateful to have come in contact with i99, as my ring muscleups and rope climbs were extremely inefficient. After working with i99, I went from hardly being able to do one kipping muscle up, to being able to string them together; my rope climbs went from a strict, slow ascent to being able to get up a rope in three pulls. After working with i99 only a few times, I was already sold on their methodology. I loved how i99 put an emphasis on drilling efficient shapes rather than attempting skills with dangerous form over and over. Because of this and my passion for coaching, I decided to go through the i99 Level 1, 2, and 3 Coaching Certifications.
I am so grateful to be welcomed on to the i99 team. Throughout my years doing CrossFit I have seen that there is a demand in the fitness community for learning how to be more efficient and safe in gymnastics movements. I am so excited that I get to assist people in this journey to becoming a better athlete.”

Trinity currently attends Purdue University, studying nutrition and business.
